An exception to above 3-month retention policy is when:
- A donation is made
- A Gift Aid Form is submitted
- A Standing Order Form is submitted
In the above 3 scenarios, the personal data may be retained indefinitely.

How long your personal data is stored
For most of our online forms like the Contact Form, your information is held for 3 months, after which it is securely erased. Exceptions to the 3-month retention policy are our donation and payment forms mentioned above.

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access, update or erase any personal data we hold for you. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us via email at admin@syuk.org.uk and we will process your request promptly within one month.
Please note that your information may be transferred outside of Europe, including to the United States of America as per our appointments with third parties.
